HOw do VIrtual Consultations work?
Don’t you need to come and see my property?
It’s not a replacement for a site visit, it’s a chance to review your project goals, discuss budget and process, then determine the best next steps!
Start with clarity, not guesswork.
Most people reach out asking for a quote.
What they usually want is to understand what’s possible, what’s realistic, and what this might cost before committing time, money, or energy.
That’s why every project starts with a virtual consultation.
Not because we don’t want to see your property — but because seeing a property without context rarely produces useful answers.
Why we don’t start with a site visit
Walking a yard before scope, budget, or intent is defined often leads to:
placeholder or incorrect pricing,
assumptions that need to be undone later,
or wasted time on both sides.
The virtual meeting allows us to:
ask the right questions first,
understand what we’re actually pricing,
and make any site visit purposeful rather than exploratory.
We’ll still visit the site — just at the right time.
Step 1: Virtual Consultation (30 minutes)
We review:
Your goals and priorities
Any drawings, sketches, or inspiration you already have
Budget comfort and scope expectations
Site constraints that matter early (grading, access, pool coordination, permitting, etc.)
If you already have professional plans or take-offs, we review those together and confirm how they should be priced.
You leave the call with clarity on:
whether we’re the right fit for your project,
what level of solution makes sense,
and what the next step should be.
Step 2: Determine the Right Path Forward
After the virtual consult, one of three things happens:
1. Direct Pricing
If scope and documentation are sufficient, we move straight into estimating.
2. Site Visit
If field verification is required, we schedule a site visit with clear objectives.
3. Design or Refinement
If scope needs refinement or value-engineering before pricing, we outline those options clearly.
No guessing. No vague next steps.
Step 3: Pricing & Proposal
When we price a project, it’s done intentionally — with confirmed scope, assumptions, and sequencing.
Depending on the project, this may include:
full hardscape and softscape scope,
lighting and electrical coordination,
pools, retaining walls, fencing, drainage,
construction phasing and allowances where appropriate.
Our goal is not the fastest number — it’s a useful one.
Virtual Consultation Do’s and Don’ts
Send photos or videos ahead of time
Wide shots of the front, back, and any problem areas are perfect. Phone photos are completely fine.Share any plans, sketches, or inspiration
Professional drawings, hand sketches, Pinterest images, or past quotes — all are helpful.Think about priorities
What matters most to you? Function, aesthetics, budget, timeline — there are no wrong answers.Be honest about budget comfort
This helps us guide the conversation and avoid unrealistic options early.Join from anywhere
You can be at work, at home, or on the road. Being on site is not required.
DO:
DOn’t:
Don’t worry about walking us around the yard live
The virtual meeting is not a site tour. Photos and drawings are more useful at this stage.Don’t stress about measurements or technical details
That comes later if and when we move forward.Don’t feel like you need to have everything figured out
The purpose of the call is clarity — not final decisions.Don’t expect a final price on the call
The meeting sets the direction for accurate pricing; it doesn’t replace proper estimating.Don’t worry about tidying up or being “ready”
We’re discussing concepts and scope, not inspecting your property.
Ready to book?
